The 2009 Australian Junior Volleyball Championships was hosted by Volleyball Queensland, with the support of Volleyball Australia. The tournament was held at Cornubia Insports and the Beenleigh Arena from the 5-11 July 2009. Brisbane played host to over fifty teams from across the country and New Zealand. The 6-day event continued the tradition of fierce rivalry mixed with fun and camaraderie.
The 2009 Presidents Cup was a closely fought battle between Victoria and Queensland. The results came down to the final Gold Medal game. Queensland took the game and the Presidents Cup for the fourth consecutive year. Queensland now joins Victoria as the only other State to win 4 Presidents Cup four-years running.
