April 21, 2007This site has been created to record the history of the Australian Junior Volleyball Championships (AJVC). I hope you find it of interest, as you look through the pages of results, from all the tournaments, since its inception in 1990. National Junior Volleyball tournaments were held before 1990, but not as a single combined event. I do plan to record the results of those tournaments prior to 1990.
Please feel free to send through any information that may be missing, some records are not fully up to date, due to incomplete resources. Any photos and stories are also most welcome. And I hope you find this history of these tournaments as insteresting as I do.

A great collection of facts, well done. I was dissapointed to find the Digital Salvo website (that used to offer photos of Volleyball events like AJVC for preview & purchase) has been taken down “indefinately”. Does anyone know the deal?

i played for Vic U/17’s, U/20’s & Open(late 70’s-80’s). I also played for Australia in Korea 1980.Just wandering if you’ll be putting up info from that era?
